How fast is your mobile charging?

It is 240V at 9.6 kW, Level 2 AC charging, the same rate as a typical home wall connector. In round numbers: 30 miles of range per hour of plug-in time. Not a DC fast charger. The goal is to get you to the next Supercharger or home, not to fill the battery.

Do you support Rivian, Ford Lightning, Ioniq, EV6, Polestar?

Yes. Tesla's a common rescue in the Inland Empire, but the source is a standard 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet, and any EV with a J1772 or CCS adapter can charge from it. Operators carry the adapters.

Can I schedule a mobile charge ahead of time?

Yes. Tell us the location and the window when you call and we'll line up an operator. Popular for film shoots, wedding venues, fleet yards without Level 2, and Airbnb hosts who want a better amenity for EV guests.

Is this the same as a DC fast charger truck?

No. Purpose-built mobile DC fast chargers exist (SparkCharge, Revolution, etc.) and deliver 24 to 200 kW from a diesel or battery trailer. This is Level 2 AC charging from a standard 240V outlet, lower speed, much lower cost, and more than enough for the 10 to 20 miles of range most rescues need.

West Valley and Chino Valley Mobile Charging in Fontana Fontana straddles the point where the valley tilts toward the pass. Summers run well past a hundred degrees, repeatedly, with no coastal relief. Trucks and traffic on the I-10 and I-15 keep speeds inconsistent. Inconsistent speeds plus full AC drain a pack faster than predicted. Past the SR-210 junction on I-15, you're committed to the climb. North Fontana and Sierra Lakes add a gentle grade that still costs range heading home.
West Valley and Chino Valley Mobile Charging in Ontario Ontario sits on the valley floor, with no marine influence and no elevation help. Summer afternoons run hot, and the air conditioning runs from May to October. Stop-and-go on Milliken and Haven at shift change drains the pack on time. There's no hill to blame on the valley floor. Heat and warehouse traffic do this work, not a hill.
West Valley and Chino Valley Mobile Charging in Rancho Cucamonga The city climbs from about 1,100 feet in the south. Alta Loma and Etiwanda sit over 2,000 feet. That grade is gentle enough that drivers don't notice it. It's steep enough that it costs range on every trip home. Summers are hot and dry up the alluvial fan. Santa Ana winds funnel down out of the canyons hard enough to matter.
San Bernardino Valley Mobile Charging in San Bernardino San Bernardino sits at the base of a wall. The mountains rise thousands of feet directly north of the city. That traps heat in summer and funnels Santa Ana winds through the passes. Summer afternoons are among the hottest in the non-desert Inland Empire. Every mountain trip and every High Desert trip starts here. You're at about 1,000 feet, and the road only goes up. AC on I-215 and I-10 eats range before the climb starts.
Riverside and the Corona corridor Mobile Charging in Riverside Riverside is the hot inland benchmark for this whole region. Summer afternoons here regularly clear a hundred degrees. There's no coastal relief anywhere inside the city. Box Springs Mountain sits on the city's east side. Mount Rubidoux and the Hawarden and Alessandro hills rise midtown. Canyon Crest and Orangecrest climb on the south side. Sustained air conditioning on those grades eats real range. The trip computer's estimate then turns optimistic fast. Stop-and-go on the SR-91 commute drains the pack through dwell time. Heat also wears 12V batteries sitting in driveways and lots.
Riverside and the Corona corridor Mobile Charging in Moreno Valley Moreno Valley sits in a bowl at about 1,600 feet. That's higher than Riverside, and the heat stays in the bowl. Box Springs Mountains ring the west side of town. The Badlands rise on the east toward Beaumont. That bowl gets very hot and holds the heat. Gilman Springs Road is a sustained grade with no services. The SR-60 climb east over the Badlands is the same story. Air conditioning on those grades makes the dash estimate look generous. Heat also wears 12V batteries sitting in lots and driveways.
Riverside and the Corona corridor Mobile Charging in Corona Corona sits at the mouth of the Santa Ana River canyon. That's the one gap that lets a little coastal air inland. That makes Corona marginally milder than Riverside in summer. It also funnels Santa Ana winds the other direction through town. Summers here are still severe on the valley floor. The south side climbs steadily toward the Cleveland National Forest. Foothill Parkway and the Skyline area are a real grade. Climbing home with the air on chews more range than the dash shows.
High Desert Mobile Charging in Victorville Victorville sits in the High Desert at about 2,878 feet. Summer days run at or above 100 degrees about 42 times a year. That's twice the heat load Riverside drivers usually see. AC runs from morning to night and eats range. Winter nights freeze harder than anything the valley sees. Cold cuts pack range more than the heat does. Heat still wears down 12V batteries on parked cars. Northbound I-15 over Cajon Summit drops the dash faster than the miles. Southbound drivers get some regeneration on the long descent.
